It is with great pleasure that I present to you the official site for Chinese light novel translations! This is the international site for Chinese web novels and it is run by Qidian.

I am also pleased to inform you that our big and oh-so-secretive project was a collaboration with Qidian to translate and release LNs (with permission this time) on their site! These works are of much better quality than MFLB here because we have hired an editor to improve their quality.

Currently, as of Qidian’s site launch day, only one of the LNs assigned to us have been released. The title of our LN is Masked Knight (MK) and we have uploaded 10 chapters for you to enjoy right off the bat! The chapter update rate would be decided by Qidian themselves but it is currently set at 1 per day (Woohooo! No more waiting for a week for each chapter).

We would also like to share with our readers the titles of another two upcoming novels. One is titled The Age of Cosmos Exploration (ACE) and our best translator is currently working on it! The other title would be MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian (RLG). Yes that’s right, a sci-fi story and a VR MMO story coming right up your doorsteps! The ETA for the release of these two novels would be in April. Releases on Qidian International will also be posted on our site, though they would only be posted about 12 hours after their first release on Qidian, so look forward to the posting of MK’s first 10 chapters in about 12 hours!

On a side note, I believe some of you may feel unhappy that we have directed our efforts towards releasing more chapters on other LNs instead of focusing our entirety on MFLB. To be honest, MFLB is an interesting story to read. However, popularity-wise, it loses out to these novels specifically chosen by Qidian due to their popularity in the Chinese market. While their statistics may not be the best indicator to the popularity these novels would receive in foreign markets, from our (translators) point-of-view, the writing in these novels provide them with more depth.

Another point to note is that MFLB may sometimes contain 11,000 Chinese characters in a chapter. One such chapter is approximately equal to 3-4 chapters of most Chinese LNs out there (averaging at 3,000 characters). As such, it takes us triple the time to translate a chapter. Since we are a group that is new, please understand that we must prioritize survival in the industry to continue on. However, I can assure you that MFLB’s release schedule will still be maintained at 1 chapter even after we have shifted our focus onto other LNs. In due time, if we are able to find a suitable translator to take over MFLB (under EndlessFantasy Translations name), we may increase the rate of release depending on the translator’s ability to provide more chapters. As such, please bear with us in the meantime!
